Misa Leonessa Garavaglia is a Life Coach, Spiritual Director, and transformation specialist with a passion to share the hope she has found healing from childhood trauma. 

She is an advocate for survivors of childhood abuse and a guide to those ready to move beyond survival and thrive.  She helps individuals break the patterns of fear and pain to live in their rightful inheritance of life, love, and joy.  She leads a 12 week healing course called Living from the Heart as well as workshops and weekend retreats.  Her next course begins on January 30th via video conferencing, with a FREE introductory session on January 23rd.  For more information, see:

She is also a volunteer at the Survivor's Healing Center of Santa Cruz, speaking widely about healing from and ending childhood sexual abuse. 

Misa is the chairperson of the speaker training committee for TEDx Santa Cruz and a five star speaker on a variety of topics.

Her college training is in Non-Profit Adminstration and Sociology from the University of the Pacific and her life coach training was through the Institute of Life Coach Training (ILCT).  She received her Spiritual Direction certification from Mercy Center in Burlingame, California.

Misa has two darling daughters, ages 20 and 24 and a son-in-law who are all near and dear to her heart.  She homeschooled her children for 15 years, and has been married for 27 years to her husband, Lou.  

Misa loves to walk in the Redwoods, kayak, paint, and garden when she is not doing the work she passionately enjoys.
